SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of obtaining wood-polymer composites for the manufacture of packaging based on a biodegradable polymer composition, it can be used in the food industry, in agriculture and in everyday life. A method of obtaining a biodegradable polymer composition involves mixing polylactide with a wood-crushed filler. As a wood filler, wood flour with a particle size of 0.1-0.25 mm is used, processed at a temperature of 200-240°C in an inert gas environment, and then by ultraviolet irradiation for 30 minutes at a treatment intensity of 30-180 J/cm. Mixing of polylactide with wood-crushed filler is carried out at a temperature of 180°C, with the following ratio of components, wt.%: polylactide is 50, specified wood filler is 50.

EFFECT: technical result is a simplification of the method of obtaining a biodegradable polymer composition, as well as an increase in the strength characteristics of the composite based on it.
