FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology, and can be used in the surgical treatment of temporal bone paraganglioma. At the first stage, the tumor is separated from the surrounding tissues. Then the tumor is coagulated with an angiolytic TruBlue WOLF laser with a wavelength of 445 nm, a power of 2-4 W in a non-contact pulsed mode, pulse duration 60-100 ms, time between pulses up to 300 ms. The distance from the end of the fiber to the tumor surface is gradually reduced, starting from 4 to 0.5 mm. Then the tumor is removed by contact in the mode of continuous exposure to laser radiation with a wavelength of 445 nm, with a power of 2-4 W.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce the patient's stay in hospital, minimize risks of intraoperative bleeding, and reduce the likelihood of complications due to the use of angiolytic TruBlue WOLF laser with a wavelength of 445 nm with the stated modes.
