FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics, and can be used for treating long bone defects of gunshot genesis using 3D-implants. Cement spacer with antibiotics is placed in the bone defect for 3-6 weeks. After the spacer is removed, titanium mesh 3D-implant is inserted into the defect, repeating the configuration of the bone defect and impregnated with spongy bone. 3-D implant is fixed by intramedullary introduction of the rod coated with an individually made mantle of bone cement with an antibiotic.
EFFECT: method provides reduced injuries of surgical intervention, improves reliability of fixation, has easier postoperative period due to use of individually made implant.
