FIELD: textiles.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the textile industry, particularly to hollow multilayer woven preforms designed for manufacture of reinforcing elements of composite materials. Proposed is a hollow multilayer woven preform with a three-dimensional structure formed on a circular weaving machine by weaving weft threads and warp thread systems. The preform therein has on the surface and/or along the thickness thereof chains of point thickenings located along the required paths with the required angles to the generatrix of the workpiece, simulating the twill-line effect and providing conditions for manufacturing products from a composite material in form of a rotation body resulting in torque and configured to rotate around the axis thereof with a preset rotation direction. Also proposed is a method of manufacture of the described woven preform.

EFFECT: proposed invention allows to create a design of a woven preform which, during use thereof as a reinforcing element of composite materials in articles in form of rotation bodies, enables them to rotate around the axis thereof when flying in the atmosphere with a preset rotation direction and allows to maintain high strength thereof.
