FIELD: textile and paper.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to textile industry and concerns formation of large-size thin-wall and thick-wall frames of solid structure of hollow shape, intended, in particular, for manufacturing on their basis of various type of large-size products from composite materials. Hollow item in the form of a woven multilayer web of the closed form of the volumetric structure developed on a round-loop machine has on its internal and / or external surface alternating annular indentations and ledges. Proposed method consists in production of woven multilayer web on shaping mandrel fitted in round-claw machine. Note here that woven multilayer web is developed in compliance with fabric pattern wherein there are no weft threads on inner and / or outer surface of web. Method of formation of thick-walled hollow article of volume structure, including large-size, provides development of woven multilayer canvas of closed shape on form-forming mandrel installed in round-claw machine. Note here that, at first, web is formed with its inner and / or outer surface alternating between annular recesses and ledges made by said method. Thereafter, one or several webs of the said type are made on top of it, without removing it from the shaping mandrel, to the required thickness of the product; wherein operating time is carried out so that annular recesses of the previous web include annular projections of the next web and, conversely, annular projections of the previous web enter the annular recesses of the next web. In this method, each woven multilayer web is preferably made near the maximum possible thickness, limited by the maximum number of threads of the warp threads.

EFFECT: invention widens the field of application of articles produced by weaving on a round loom machine.
