FIELD: textile.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to textile industry, in particular, to hollow multilayer woven carcasses as reinforcing elements of composite materials in products with provision of possibility to set direction of their rotation around their axis during flight. Hollow multilayer woven carcass of three-dimensional structure is made of weft and warp threads. It consists of inner and outer woven shells with alternating annular recesses and by projections on the side of their outer and inner surfaces, respectively, connected to each other due to the fact that annular projections of the outer shell enter the annular recesses of the inner shell and vice versa, its annular projections enter the annular recesses of the outer shell. At that warp threads by themselves, or with chains of point seals arranged thereon, are deflected from outer shell generatrix to one side or another at an angle of up to 10 degrees. Invention also relates to a method of making a frame of said structure.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to create a woven frame, when used as a reinforcing element of composite materials in articles in the form of bodies of revolution, it is possible to set the direction of their rotation, while maintaining high strength of the composite along the generatrix of the article.
