SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the area of technical maintenance and repair of complex technical systems, including weaponry, military and special equipment, and applies to repair of glazing of a military aircraft. In comparison with the known methods, a cover plate is installed on the reverse side of the breach, the prepared light-cured composition is portioned into the processed hole, the composition is cured using a polarising ultraviolet lamp from the side opposing the installed cover plate, the outer and inner surfaces of the section filled with the composition are polished, tightness of sealing of the repaired area is monitored by creating an overpressure in the cabin and monitoring the value of the pressure decrease generated from the ground installation per unit of time in accordance with the requirements of the Operating Instructions of a particular type of aircraft.

EFFECT: possibility to repair through breaches in the glazing of an aircraft, reduced labour intensity for repairing damage to the glazing of an aircraft, provided determined reliability and tight sealing of the cabin during repairing of glazing elements in the event of combat damage.
