FIELD: fire safety.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in systems of flame-retardant non-combustible materials for fire-resistant sealing of joints and junctions operating under alternating deformation conditions. The method for manufacturing a fire barrier consists in stitching layers of heat-treated silica fabric with a polyurethane coating with a silica thread to form an intermediate layer between the layers of heat-insulating material and sealing ribs. A flame retardant and a dye are added to the composition of the polyurethane coating. The silica thread is coated with a composition containing fluorinated components. From the heat-treated polyurethane-impregnated silica fabric, the patterns of the product are cut out according to a template, then sewn with an offset of 150 mm along the length, obtaining the blanks of the product in the form of a not completely sewn sleeve. The sleeve is filled in layers with a thermal insulation material based on basalt fibers. An intermediate layer in the form of aluminum foil gaskets is laid between the layers of thermal insulation material. The filler inside the product is fixed by stitching the workpiece with a silica impregnated thread.

EFFECT: an increase in the reliability of protection against fire penetration through deformation, linear seams, construction junctions, joints of monolithic and prefabricated structures of buildings.
