FIELD: modified humic products production.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of production of modified humic products based on peat and can be used for purification of effluents from electrochemical and metallurgical enterprises, reclamation of soil media from heavy metal ions (HMI). The sorbent based on humic substances of black alder lowland peat is a polymer consisting of a natural organic matrix containing metal-binding centers (MBC), with stability constants of complexes with heavy metal ions, with additionally introduced synthetic components, which are used as formaldehyde and phenol-pyrocatechol in molar ratio 1:1.

EFFECT: invention increases the sorption capacity of a sorbent based on black alder low-lying peat, which makes it possible to purify drinking, ground, industrial water, as well as bottom sediments with a high content of heavy metal ions.
