FIELD: abrasion-resistant products.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a multilayer product containing an abrasion-resistant layer located on the surface of an optically transparent substrate. Multilayer product (100) contains abrasion-resistant layer (101) located on surface (102) of optically transparent substrate (103), the said layer contains a pattern of spatially separated protrusions (104) of the material extending from the said surface, wherein the said pattern has a period in the range from 10 to 350 nm, and silica (105) located between the said protrusions. The said material has a Knoop hardness measured in accordance with the Knoop hardness standard ASTM E384, which is greater than that of silica, while projections (104) contain ends (106) that are aligned with open surface (107) of silica (105) opposite surface (102), or protrude from the said open surface.
EFFECT: invention provides increased resistance to abrasion.
