SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and an apparatus for applying noise-reducing elements to a tyre for vehicle wheels. The method includes placing multiple noise-reducing elements on a feed belt moved along a specified feed direction (A). The noise-reducing elements are then aligned along said feed direction (A) and brought into contact with each other for subsequent relocation thereof onto the technological plane located behind said feed belt along said feed direction (A) and provided with a continuous film on the upper surface thereof, serving as a support for the adhesive material layer. Said adhesive material layer is applied to the lower surface of each of said noise-reducing elements by means of separation thereof from said continuous film. The noise-reducing elements are then moved one by one onto a conveyor belt located behind said technological plane along said feed direction (A). Finally, the noise-reducing elements are placed one by one on a radially inner surface of the tyre.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides increased productivity in applying noise-reducing elements onto a tyre for vehicle wheels.
