FIELD: textile industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the textile industry, in particular to thin-walled woven casings designed to create reinforcing elements of composite materials. The method for manufacturing a thin-walled woven casing consists in its production from the systems of warp and weft threads on a forming mandrel installed in a circular weaving machine. It lies in the simultaneous production of a woven casing and a bandage fabric using one looper. In this case, in the course of the production of the woven casing and the bandage fabric, weft turns not connected with the webs are laid between them, facilitating their subsequent separation.
EFFECT: invention simplifies the method for manufacturing thin-walled woven casings with the help of circular weaving machines.
