FIELD: augmented reality devices.
SUBSTANCE: waveguide with an architecture of diffraction optical elements contains an input diffraction element, including the first linear diffraction optical element of the input diffraction element and the second linear diffraction optical element of the input diffraction element; the first multiplying diffraction element and the second multiplying diffraction element; the output diffraction element. The input diffraction element is made with the possibility of dividing the image from the projector into the color components of the image, red, green, and blue ones, and the direction of the rays of each of the color components through the corresponding set of diffraction elements.
EFFECT: invention allows for a full-color image with a wide field of view using a single waveguide, provides a wide field of view with a small thickness, and increases the resolution.
