SUBSTANCE: strain of microalga Haematococcus pluvialis VM1 is deposited in the Russian Collection of Microalgae at the institution Institute of Timiryazev Plant Physiology of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IPPAS) under the registration number IPPAS H-2018 and may be used to produce astaxanthin.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase yield of astaxanthin.
