FIELD: smoking devices.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an aerosol generating device and to a method for using a sheet of aerosol forming substrate in the aerosol generating device. The aerosol generating device contains a device case, a mouthpiece connected to the device case, a receiving chamber made with the possibility of receiving outside the device at least part of the sheet of aerosol forming substrate in an unfolded form and made with the possibility of accommodating aerosol forming substrate of a cylindrical shape, and a holder for holding the sheet of aerosol forming substrate. The device additionally contains a wrapper device for receiving a flat or unfolded sheet of aerosol forming substrate and for wrapping the sheet of aerosol forming substrate around the holder from the unfolded form to aerosol forming substrate of the cylindrical shape.
EFFECT: group of inventions is aimed at providing the aerosol generating device and the method that do not require complex or expensive process of forming tobacco rods.
