SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system for selective viewing and displaying of images. The result is achieved by the fact that the emitting apparatus (12, 13) is configured to emit light so as to display information to the user (18), the emitting apparatus (12, 13) is adapted to emit light in a pulsed manner so that the light intensity changes between a high value and a low value, the selective viewing apparatus (16) contains a panel adapted so that the user can see the light (11') emitted by the emitting apparatus through the panel in order to visually perceive the displayed information, the panel has a variable transparency variable between a high transparency state and a low transparency state, the system is adapted to synchronize the emitting apparatus (12, 13) and the selective viewing apparatus (16) so that the states of the emitting apparatus emitting light with a high intensity value and the states of the panel of the selective viewing apparatus of high transparency overlap in time, the emitting apparatus is adapted so that the light is pulsed with a working cycle of less than or equal to 1/10, wherein the panel of the selective viewing apparatus is adapted to operate with a substantially the same working cycle.
EFFECT: reduced power consumption and increased contrast of the image.
