FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment in the field of thermometry and can be used in scientific research and diagnostics of various thermodynamic processes. According to the claimed method, by varying a given physical parameter, several preset values of the heat flow between the measured object and the thermal converter are consistently created as a means of measuring the temperature of the object. Meanwhile, the responses of the thermal converter to the corresponding heat flows are recorded each time. For the registered responses, their dependence on the variable physical parameter is found, the obtained dependence is extrapolated to the zero value of the variable physical parameter, and the corresponding response of the thermal converter is assumed to be equivalent to the actual temperature of the measured object. According to the found response and the known transfer function of the thermal converter, the desired temperature of the object is found.
EFFECT: increased reliability and accuracy of temperature measurements performed using thermal converters of various types, while simultaneously expanding the dynamic range of the measured temperature and expanding the range of measured objects.
