FIELD: controlling.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of automated technological process control systems and is used for performing a technological operation of filling a cavity of a gas air-cooling unit (hereinafter referred to as a GACU) in process piping of a gas pumping unit (hereinafter referred to as a GPU) with individual location of the GACU in the presence of a valve between the cavity of the GACU and the cavity of the blower. In automatic control systems (hereinafter referred to as ACS) containing a controller, input signal modules (signals from sensors), output signal modules (actuator control signals), a linear algorithm is introduced, including sub-algorithms implementing the functions of the gas filling, stabilisation and bleeding process, allowing to fill the cavity of the gas air-cooling unit through a bypass valve of the inlet valve of the blower of the GPU.

EFFECT: automation of the GACU filling process is provided in order to accelerate the GACU cavity filling process and to eliminate personnel errors in the GACU filling process.
