METHOD FOR PREDICTING RECOVERY OF SENSORIMOTOR FUNCTIONS IN PATIENTS WITH ACUTE ISCHEMIC STROKE AFTER EARLY REHABILITATION Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC G01N33/50

Abstract RU 2753140 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to neurology. A method for predicting the recovery of sensorimotor functions in patients with acute ischemic stroke after early rehabilitation consists in determining the serum concentration of the basic myelin protein MBP in venous blood on the 2nd day of ischemic stroke and assessing the degree of post-stroke disorders according to the Fugle-Meier scale (FMA). Further, the probable forecast of sensorimotor recovery is determined by the formula: CLDF = -7.938 + 0.045* FMA + 0.033* MBP, where CLDF is the canonical linear discriminant function; FMA - the degree of post-stroke disorders on the Fugle-Mayer scale, points; MBP is the serum concentration of myelin basic protein, pg/ml, with a CLDF value greater than 0.6299, “no sensorimotor recovery” is predicted, with a value less than or equal to 0.6299, “sensorimotor recovery” is predicted.

EFFECT: method is characterized by simplicity and high information content.
