FIELD: thermal fluid meter.
SUBSTANCE: thermal fluid meter includes a Venturi tube and two wirewound thermistors installed in the Venturi tube. Each of the thermistors consists of two connected in series, identical in electrical resistance and located crosswise wire spirals, adjacent without touching the opposite sides of the channel of the Venturi tube. One of the wire spirals of the thermistor located in the throat of the Venturi tube consists of two parts, and in the gap between them, located near the other wire spiral of this thermistor, they are connected by two jumpers with low electrical resistance. The flow meter also contains a turbulator with a damper designed to distribute the temperature over the flow section of the measured liquid.
EFFECT: invention reduces the error in measuring the flow rate of a liquid caused by the variability of the speed and temperature of the liquid in the cross section of the flow, by averaging the effect on the thermistors of different speed and temperature of the liquid in the cross section of the flow of the liquid.
