SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment and can be used for prevention and treatment of diseases. The exercise apparatus comprises a frame with a seat and an apparatus for driving the seat into oscillatory motion, containing pedals associated with a shaft attached hingedly on the frame. The drive apparatus comprises two bevel gears, a cam, and a roller. A gear wheel of the first bevel gear is rigidly fixed on the shaft associated with the pedals, wherein the second gear wheel of said bevel gear is rigidly connected with the second shaft installed hingedly on the frame. A bevel gear wheel of the second bevel gear is rigidly fixed on the other end of this shaft, wherein the second bevel gear wheel of said bevel gear is rigidly fixed on the third shaft installed hingedly on the frame, wherein the cam is rigidly installed on this shaft, configured to interact with the roller installed hingedly on the shaft associated with the seat.

EFFECT: simplification of the design, increase in the reliability in operation, expansion of the capabilities are achieved.
