FIELD: wireless communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a wireless communication network. Proposed are a radio network node, a wireless apparatus, and methods for controlling communication in a wireless communication network, implemented thereby. The method implemented by the wireless apparatus includes the stages of receiving an indication indicating which beams are supposed to be included in the cell quality estimation for the cell; and performing one or more measurements on one or more beams, wherein said one or more beams are selected based on the received indication. Additionally proposed herein are a computer program product and a computer-readable information storage medium.
EFFECT: provided is possibility for the wireless apparatus only to perform measurements on the beams that are required for estimation of the cell quality.
