SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to optical transparent adamantane-containing polyimides and copolyimides based on 5.5'-(1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoropropane-2,2-diyl)bis(2-benzofuran-1,3-dione), with the general formula , where X = -CH2-,-C2H4-; n = from 20 to 100, m = from 80 to 0, having a low dielectric constant.
EFFECT: expansion of the range of optically transparent adamantane-containing polyimides and copolyimides for the optoelectronic industry, maintaining the optical transparency of polymers and copolymers while improving their dielectric and thermal characteristics.
