FIELD: polyimides and copolyimides.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polyimides and copolyimides based on 5,5'-(1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoropropan-2,2-diyl)bis(2-benzofuran-1,3-dione). This material is intended for the manufacture of polyimide materials such as optically transparent dielectric materials. This material can be used in the production of optically transparent films for the optoelectronic industry. Polyimide and copolyimide have the general formula:

where n = 50÷100, m = 50÷0.
EFFECT: expanding the range of optically transparent adamantane-containing polyimides and copolyimides for the production of optically transparent dielectrics, increasing the optical transparency of polymers, reducing the yellowness index and copolymers while improving their dielectric characteristics.
