The method for determining the coating thickness includes measuring the values of the installation parameters for its application, while using a pre-formed database of measured values of coating thicknesses and the corresponding installation parameters when they are applied for a certain type of parts, according to which a mathematical model is created that reflects the relationship between the thickness of the applied coating and the installation parameters when it is applied: , where A, B, C, D, E are the coefficients of the regression equation obtained by statistical data processing; δ is the thickness of the applied coating, microns; In is the heating current, A; τh is the heating time, min; Ih is the heating current, A; τa is the application time, min; k, l, m, n are the calculated coefficients obtained by statistical data processing; before applying the coating, the thickness of the applied coating is calculated according to the obtained dependence, adjusting the parameters of the installation for its application to ensure the required thickness.
