FIELD: pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a nano-aluminum-particle for the use in a vaccine composition. The nano-aluminum-particle contains: (a) suitable aluminum salt, where aluminum salt is selected from a group consisting of aluminum hydroxide, aluminum hydroxide gel, AlPo4, AlO(OH), Al(OH)(PO4) and Kal(SO4)2; and (b) suitable size-regulating agent, where size-regulating agent is selected from a group including polyacrylic acid (PAA), PEG, PEG connected to lipid, chitosan, dextran or polyallylamine; wherein the size of the specified particle is in the range from approximately 1 nm to approximately 450 nm. A method for producing nano-aluminum-particle, a composition for the use in the vaccine composition, a method for stimulating an immune response in a subject are also proposed.
EFFECT: proposed nano-aluminum-particles are stable and amenable to the final sterilization stage before being introduced into vials.
