FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to biotechnology, namely to liposome for in vivo delivery of RNA to vertebrate cell. This liposome contains an encapsulated, self-replicating RNA encoding an immunogen of interest, in molar percentages of 20% to 80 % of the cationic lipid, 35 % to 50 % of cholesterol, and a zwitterionic lipid. Liposome has diameter in range of 60–180 nm. Said immunogen, which is encapsulated in the liposome, causes immune response against bacterium, virus, fungus or parasite. Present invention discloses a pharmaceutical composition for subject immunization comprising an effective amount of said liposome, and method for developing a protective immune response in vertebrates with its use.
EFFECT: present invention allows to improve delivery of nucleic acids vaccines to the subject's body.
