FIELD: catalysts.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a laboratory unit for completing process regulations for recycling exhausted nickel-containing catalysts, containing a thermally insulated reactor equipped with heating and water cooling systems for the body, wherein a gas reservoir heated by a tubular electric heater is connected to the thermally insulated reactor with tanks with oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, carbon monoxide, natural gas and air connected thereto by means of flexible hoses with electromechanical valves; the reactor is equipped with a cover wherein a tee-pipe is installed, wherein the first outlet of the tee-pipe is in communication with the atmosphere through a branch pipe equipped with an electromechanical valve, and the second outlet of the tee-pipe is connected to a nickel carbonyl decomposition chamber with constant magnets fixed on the outer surface thereof; the outlet branch pipe of the decomposition chamber is connected in series with a system for air and water cooling of carbon monoxide through a filter and is connected to a peristaltic pump the outlet whereof is introduced into the reactor; additionally, a resistive temperature sensor, a pressure sensor and a carbon monoxide content sensor are installed in the reactor, connected to the measuring inputs of the laboratory unit control unit, and the power outlets thereof are connected to the body heating system, the pump of the water cooling system for the body, the tubular electric heater of the gas reservoir, the nickel carbonyl tubular electric heater, the peristaltic pump and the electromechanical valves of the branch pipes and gas containers, respectively.
EFFECT: creation of a laboratory unit for completing process regulations for recycling exhausted nickel-containing catalysts.
