SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to communication technologies, namely, user equipment and the method for transmitting the preamble. A terminal containing a receiving unit and a transmitting unit is proposed. The receiving unit is configured to receive from the base station a primary synchronization signal (PSS), a secondary synchronization signal (SSS), and a physical broadcast channel (PBCH) in the synchronization signal unit. The transmitting unit is designed to transmit a random access preamble based on synchronization signal blocks, in which the primary synchronization signal (PSS), the secondary synchronization signal (SSS) and the physical broadcast channel (PBCH) are received.

EFFECT: ensuring that the display period of the synchronization signal blocks is properly determined.
