FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of alcoholic beverages. An alcoholic beverage contains at least 15 vol.% of alcohol, xanthan, and galactomannan in a ratio from 80:20 to 20:80 (wt.%), at least 0.01 wt.% and no more than 3.0 wt.% of inclusions suspended in the specified beverage. A method for obtaining such a beverage is also described by providing a solution of xanthan and galactomannan, holding it at rest and further mixing it with an aqueous solution containing alcohol.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to effectively stabilize particles in the alcoholic beverage, while maintaining attractive taste and consistency of the beverage.
