SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of intelligent warehouse technology. A method for taking a stock keeping unit using a loading and unloading robot, wherein the loading and unloading robot comprises: a frame; and an apparatus for loading and unloading materials, installed on the frame and containing a retractable arm and a manipulator installed on the retractable arm; and the method for taking a stock keeping unit includes: putting the manipulator in motion using a retractable bar in order to push it to a predetermined location of a warehouse stand along a predetermined horizontal reference line; loading the stock keeping unit located at the predetermined location using the manipulator remaining on the reference line; putting the manipulator loaded with the stock keeping unit in motion using the retractable bar in order to move it to the frame along the reference line; and unloading the stock keeping unit onto the frame using the manipulator remaining on the reference line.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of the loading and unloading robot.
