FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to the production of intermetallic alloys based on titanium aluminide. The method for producing intermetallic alloys based on titanium aluminide includes hot compaction of a mixture of titanium and aluminum powders, while a mixture of titanium and aluminum powders obtained by preliminary grinding of technogenic chip waste based on titanium and aluminum to dispersion of 100-150 mcm is subjected to hot compaction, compaction of a mixture of titanium and aluminum powders is carried out by simultaneous action of a compressive force that ensures the density of compacted material of 0.8-0.55 of the density of the resulting alloy, and electric current with the density of 4-6 A/mm2, providing the synthesis of an intermetallic alloy based on titanium aluminide.
EFFECT: invention provides the production of alloys based on titanium aluminide from technogenic chip waste in the energy and time-saving mode.
