FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, in particular to clinical biochemistry, and is intended for the determination of oxidatively modified proteins in biological fluids. A biological liquid is placed in a centrifuge test tube. The oxidatively modified proteins contained in it are colored. The samples are incubated at a temperature of 18-20°C for 60 minutes. Proteins are precipitated with 20% trichloroacetic acid. The resulting precipitate is dissolved in 2 ml of a 2% solution of caustic soda. The number of oxidatively modified proteins is determined using a spectrophotometer in the wavelength range of 230-530 nm.
EFFECT: provides acceleration of the process of conducting a study of the amount of oxidatively modified proteins in biological fluids with an improvement in the quality of analysis by the spectrophotometric method.
