SUBSTANCE: proposed in the description are an ultrasonic flow meter and a pipeline for a fluid medium. The ultrasonic flow meter includes: a body whereon an inlet for a fluid medium is formed and an outlet for the fluid medium with a channel for the fluid medium between them; and no less than two pairs of ultrasonic sensors, wherein each pair of said no less than two pairs of ultrasonic sensors has a first ultrasonic sensor and a second ultrasonic sensor placed opposite each other, wherein at least some of said no less than two pairs of ultrasonic sensors are placed in grooves on the inner wall of the channel for the fluid medium and the central points of the front end faces of at least some of said no less two pairs of ultrasonic sensors are located on a cylindrical curvilinear surface formed by the inner wall of the channel for the fluid medium.
EFFECT: technical result is creation of an ultrasonic flow meter exhibiting characteristics suitable for various operating conditions, not requiring a rectifying apparatus, and displaying high measurement accuracy.
