FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: ultrasonic measuring device (10) containing pipe section (12) that has central longitudinal axis (22) and cross section (24) with radius (R), at least the first two-channel measuring system containing the first channel (30a) and the second channel (30b), which are specified with the first pair of ultrasonic converters (32) and the second pair of ultrasonic converters (32) fixed on the wall of pipe section (12), the first calculating device (38) and the first integrator (40) intended to determine the flow rate on the basis of the first value of the flow rate and the second value of the flow rate. Central longitudinal axis (22) specifies horizontal plane (26) of reference. Ultrasonic converters (32) of each channel (30a-b) are installed opposite each other on the ends of the corresponding channels (30a-b). Each channel (30a-b) is located parallel to horizontal plane (26) of reference at some distance from it and includes a constituent part that is perpendicular to central longitudinal axis (22). The calculating device is intended to determine the first value of the flow rate for the first channel (30a) by comparing the time of passage of an ultrasonic signal via the first channel (30a) in the flow direction and against flow of fluid medium, as well as to determine the second value of the flow rate for the second channel (30b) by comparing the time of passage of the ultrasonic signal via the second channel (30b) in the flow direction and against flow of fluid medium. Distance from channels (30a-b) to horizontal plane (26) of reference is more than the half of radius (R).
EFFECT: higher measurement accuracy.
