SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tire assembly reel (1, 101, 201, 301, 401). Tire assembly reel (1, 101, 201, 301, 401) contains left section (2), right section (3) and central section (4, 104). Central section (4, 104) is made with the possibility of expanding in the radially outward direction (R1) to an expanded position. Tire assembly reel (1, 101, 201, 301, 401) contains support element (5) for supporting central section (4, 104) in the radially outward direction (R1). Support element (5) is made with the possibility to be moved together with central section (4, 104) in the radially outward direction (R1). Tire assembly reel (1, 101, 201, 301, 401) additionally contains locking device (6) to block support element (5) from moving in the radially inward direction (R2) when central section (4, 104) is in the expanded position.
EFFECT: increased rigidity of the central section of the reel.
