FIELD: separation of gases.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an adsorber for isolation of gas impurities from an air flow or gas mixtures and can be used in air separation units and gas-charging means. The adsorber includes a body made in the form of a hollow cylinder with profiled flanges with branch pipes installed at both ends of the body for inlet and outlet of dried gas, wherein the body of the adsorber is composed of several autonomous isolated parts forming a unit with an adsorbent, wherein a KAco zeolite is placed in the first part of said unit for drying the air from moisture, a NaX zeolite is placed in the second part for purification of the air from impurities of hydrocarbons, organic, sulphuric, nitric, acidic compounds and halogen-substituted hydrocarbons, a NaA zeolite is placed in the third part for purification of the air from carbon dioxide, wherein said parts are made and installed consecutively in the unit, configured for autonomous replacement of each part and tightly interconnected by means of flange connections.
EFFECT: proposed adsorber exhibits high operational characteristics, in particular, a high selective absorption capacity for an air mixture of gases and a high coefficient of isolation of impurities in the process of desorption.
