SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for obtaining photocatalytic material. A method for obtaining a photocatalytic composite material, including sol-gel synthesis, is described, which consists in mixing titanium alkoxide and a solvent, followed by adding a polymer matrix to the resulting solution, followed by calcining the reaction mixture, washing the resulting material and then drying it to an absolutely dry state, titanium tetraisopropoxide is used as titanium alkoxide in an amount of 0.1-0.5 g, capronic acid is used as a solvent in an amount of 10-15 ml, cellulose esters or hydrate cellulose in an amount of 0.8-1.2 g are used as a polymer matrix, the reaction mixture is calcined at a temperature of 180-200°C for 7-8 hours, followed by washing by changing solvents with hexane, acetone, ethanol in an amount of 10-20 ml each, and drying is carried out at room temperature in an argon atmosphere.

EFFECT: technical result is the optimization of the process of obtaining a photocatalytic material.
