FIELD: functional materials technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of functional materials, specifically to the technology of optically transparent oxide semiconductors used in optoelectronics, photovoltaics and plasmonics. According to the invention, a method for producing nanodispersed cadmium oxide doped with lithium is proposed, comprising obtaining an initial mixture by dissolving cadmium carbonate and lithium carbonate, taken in a stoichiometric ratio, in 10% formic acid, taken in an amount of 5.6 ml of acid solution per 1 g of total amounts of cadmium carbonate and lithium carbonate, evaporation of the resulting mixture at a temperature of 50-60°C until a dry residue is obtained and annealing at a temperature of 300-320°C for 0.5 hours at the first stage and at a fixed temperature in the range of 500-900°C for 1 hours in the second stage.
EFFECT: obtained according to the invention nanodispersed cadmium oxide, doped with lithium, optically transparent in the visible range of the spectrum, is characterized by an increase in the width of the range of values of the band gap with a pronounced linear character of the dependence of the band gap on the concentration of lithium and the annealing temperature.
