FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology in particular.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used for accelerated training of ophthalmologists in basic skills of reverse binocular ophthalmoscopy using the Eyesi by VRmagic simulator. They practice the basics of ophthalmoscopy using the Eyesi by VRmagic simulator. They repeat the test tasks under the supervision of the teacher. The course includes one hundred test exercises. All exercises are divided into three categories: 1 abstract tasks; 2 tasks for the study of various pathologies of the fundus; 3 situational tasks. Abstract tasks consist in the fact that the student uses the proposed tools to perform ophthalmoscopy of a healthy fundus. On the fundus, you need to find all the abstract shapes and accurately place them on the fundus diagram. From task to task, the set goals become more complicated. Tasks for studying various pathologies of the fundus consist in the fact that the student uses the proposed tools to perform ophthalmoscopy of the pathological fundus. On the fundus, it is necessary to find manifestations of various diseases. At the end of each task, there are tests in which you need to note the deviations found from the norm and compare them with a specific disease. These tasks use photos taken with the help of a Fundus camera. Situational tasks consist in the fact that the student is provided with an anamnesis of the disease. With the help of the proposed tools, ophthalmoscopy of the fundus is performed. The results of various studies are provided below. Then the student in the form of a test should note the pathology seen, diagnose the patient, prescribe treatment.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to achieve a complete and effective development of motor coordination skills of working with the both hands and head during reverse binocular ophthalmoscopy, which reduces the likelihood of technical errors during ophthalmoscopy in the daily practice of an ophthalmologist and improves the quality of the information obtained by using the Eyesi by VRmagic simulator, a large number of tasks gradually becoming more complex, matching the tools necessary for the study and focusing training points on the fundus.
