SUBSTANCE: present group of inventions relates to the field of pharmaceutics, namely to the use of a compound of 3-[(3S,4R)-3-methyl-6-(7H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidine-4-yl)-1,6-diazaspiro[3,4]octane-1-yl]-3-oxopropannitrile for the preparation of a drug for the treatment of focal alopecia, as well as to the use of a composition containing the above-mentioned compound as an active ingredient for the preparation of the drug for the treatment of prevention of focal alopecia. In addition, a method for the treatment of focal alopecia in a subject, who needs it, is described, including a stage of injection to the specified subject of therapeutically effective amount of 3-[(3S,4R)-3-methyl-6-(7H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidine-4-yl)-1,6-diazaspiro[3,4]octane-1-yl]-3-oxopropannitrile.
EFFECT: providing a new pharmaceutical application of 3-[(3S,4R)-3-methyl-6-(7H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidine-4-yl)-1,6-diazaspiro[3,4]octane-1-yl]-3-oxopropannitrile as a therapeutic or preventive agent for focal alopecia.
