FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, namely to structures of connecting rod and piston groups of piston machines; it can be used in internal combustion engines, compressors, expanders, etc. The essence of the invention is that in the connecting rod and piston group, a pin is rigidly connected to a connecting rod and installed in a piston recess with an open cylindrical surface. According to the invention, two arc-shaped covers of the piston pin are connected to the piston by means of a threaded connection and are installed on two opposite sides of the pin relatively to the connecting rod, and the pin is curved with the possibility of straightening under the action of a working load on the piston, while the center of the arc of the longitudinal geometric axis of the pin is located on the side opposite to the connecting rod.
EFFECT: technical result of the claimed invention is an increase in the reliability of operation, reduction in the mass of reciprocatively moving masses of the piston machine, increase in the maintainability of the group.
