FIELD: metrology.

SUBSTANCE: method for determining power released in current leaks to a case at the place of damage to insulation of phases of electrical network with insulated neutral consists in measuring initial current values of equivalent insulation resistance and voltages of object phases relatively to the case. Initial current values of equivalent insulation conductivities of object phases are calculated based on compiled equation system. In case of leaks to the case through damaged phase insulation, new value of equivalent insulation resistance of the object is used, voltages of phases relatively to the case corresponding to this case are measured, values of equivalent insulation conductivities of object phases corresponding to the specified case are calculated based on the specified equation system, values of conductivities of leaks to the case through damaged phase insulation are calculated by subtracting by phases from conductivities of phases with local leaks of initial phase conductivities, according to which the amount of power released in places of leaks is calculated, by which the degree of fire danger of the object is evaluated.

EFFECT: remote determining power, which allows for an increase in accuracy of evaluation of fire safety of the object.
