The substance of the invention lies in the fact that the device for external X-ray inspection of welded seams of cylindrical products includes a base and an analytical device containing an emitter and an X-ray detector, and the analytical device is connected to the base by a fixing mechanism with the possibility of rotation around the axis of cylindrical products, the analytical device is made in the form of an emitter and an X-ray detector combined in one housing and operating alternately, the base is made in the form of a symmetrical U-shaped channel made with the possibility of supporting from the side plates on the outer surface of a cylindrical product, and the fixing mechanism is made in the form of a guide with an analytical instrument holder installed perpendicularly along the axis from one edge of the base and equipped with a longitudinally moving slider with a perpendicular axis, which is equipped with a rotating sprocket under the chain and from the end opposite to the slider with a screw nut, the screw of which is rotatable relative to the base support, while the chain is equipped with at least one detachable link and is made with the possibility of simultaneously covering the sprocket and the cylindrical product from the outside, and the holder is located behind the edge of the base.

EFFECT: ensuring the possibility of creating a simple and reliable design of a device for external X-ray inspection of welded seams of cylindrical products, which allows producing fluoroscopy of welded seams for pipes of any diameter in the field.
