FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine and pharmaceuticals, namely to an intranasal system for delivery of medicinal substances to the brain, containing a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and a medicinal substance, characterised by containing an interpolyelectrolyte complex as a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, in the form of micro- and nanoparticles with a size of 50 to 1000 nm, produce in the interaction of a polycation constituting a copolymer of dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate, butyl methacrylate and methyl methacrylate with a polyanion constituting a PEGylated copolymer of methacrylic acid and ethyl acrylate.
EFFECT: improvement in the penetration of carriers with medicinal substances through the nasal mucous membrane, reduction in the time of onset of the pharmacological effect compared to oral administration of tablet dosage forms.
