FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: microcapsule is proposed, containing probiotics and maintaining the activity thereof, and a method for production thereof. The microcapsule comprises probiotics. The first material of the microcapsule wall therein comprises casein, malt extract and xylooligosaccharide. The second material of the wall comprises Tremella fuciformis polysaccharide, Bletilla striata polysaccharide, Atractylodes macrocephala polysaccharide, guar gum and pectin in predetermined ratios. The method for producing a microcapsule involves centrifugation of a culture medium containing probiotic bacteria, removal of the supernatant, producing probiotic bacteria. Casein, malt extract, xylooligosaccharide and water are mixed in predetermined quantities, producing a mixed solution of the first material of the wall. The probiotic bacteria are therein added to the mixed solution of the first material of the wall and mixed producing a bacterial suspension. The produced bacterial suspension is slowly injected into a solution of gallic acid, settled for 5 to 20 minutes, the precipitate in the form of microgranules is collected, and the collected microgranules are washed in sterilised water. Tremella fuciformis polysaccharide, Bletilla striata polysaccharide, Atractylodes macrocephala polysaccharide, guar gum and pectin are added to water and mixed producing a mixed solution of the second material of the wall. The microgranules are introduced into the resulting solution and mixed producing a bacterial suspension. The bacterial suspension is then slowly injected into a solution of calcium lactate at a concentration of 0.05 to 0.5 mol/l, ensuring hardening, washed and filtered producing microcapsules, followed by freeze-drying thereof.
EFFECT: makes it possible to reduce the negative impact of the environment on the activity of probiotics and to increase the quality of the probiotic preparation.
