FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement of intensity of gamma radiation over radioactively contaminated terrain by means of aerial radiological survey equipment. Method can be used during aerial radiation survey of radioactively contaminated area for automatic correction of dose rate value, brought to height of 1 meter above ground surface, by multiplying by correction factor KP, calculated by formula

EFFECT: technical result is increase of reliability of aerial radiation survey of area by reduction of error caused by change of meteorological conditions in area of survey.
