FIELD: time slot format indication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for indicating a time slot format. Time slot format indication information is transmitted to a user equipment (UE) after detecting that the target channel is in an idle state, wherein the time slot format indication information serves to indicate symbol formats for upstream and downstream transmissions in N time slots within a channel occupation period, when the first time slot and/or the last time slot of the N time slots is an incomplete slot (are incomplete slots), N is a positive integer greater than or equal to 1, the channel occupation period means the period of the target channel being occupied by the base station, while the target channel is in the unlicensed frequency spectrum.
EFFECT: reducing the negative impact of an incomplete time slot in N time slots on normal communication between the base station and the UE.
