FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transmission of transport blocks in subframes of a predetermined length in a wireless communication system. Receiving (transmitter is user equipment) or generated (transmitter is a base station) downlink control information, including resource allocation, containing preset modulation and preset size of transport block. Transport block is formed, which includes data encoded by channel coding for transmission in a subframe with preset modulation and preset size of a transport unit. Control is carried out in subframes and it is used to determine whether an incomplete subframe or a full subframe is available for transmitting the formed transport block. Ultimately, the transport block is transmitted with a modified modulation, different from the predetermined modulation, if an incomplete subframe is available in place of the full subframe.

EFFECT: correspondingly, in receiver is received (receiver is user equipment) or is formed (receiver is base station), size of subframe in which reception is supposed is determined, and then transport unit is received with modified modulation, only if incomplete subframe is available.
