FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of medicine, to surgical osteology, and discloses a self-binding composition for producing a calcium phosphate matrix for replacing bone defects of the human musculoskeletal system and a method for production thereof. The composition is characterised by containing α-tricalcium phosphate with a particle size of 5 to 50 microns and organic compounds with a granule size of 100 to 1000 mcm as a base, wherein paraffin and/or polyethylene glycol granules are used as organic compounds, the amount of the organic phase is 2.8 to 24.0% wt.

EFFECT: ensures osseointegration at the interface of the implant with the osseous tissue of the patient, provides a predetermined combination of porosity with strength characteristics when used in the process of replacing bone defects of the human musculoskeletal system, ensures reliable regeneration of the anatomical and functional integrity of the bone defect while filling the bone defect with own tissues; inventions can be used in surgical treatment of patients with bone tissue damage in the conditions of traumatologic and orthopedic, dental, surgical in-patient hospitals.
